Soc Trang Provincial Police receives artifacts from police veteran
PSNews - The Soc Trang Provincial Police held a ceremony on December 20 to receive tools, relating to the protection of former Prime Ministers Pham Hung and Vo Van Kiet, donated by Senior Colonel Pham Thi, former Director of the Soc Trang Provincial Police.

In a warm atmosphere, Senior Colonel Pham Thi shared with participants several stories about the patriotism and efforts of the Public Security Forces during the resistance war against the US invaders.
He said that during the protection of former Heads of State, including former Prime Ministers Pham Hung and Vo Van Kiet, he was armed with some military equipment. After more than 20 years of retirement, he still kept carefully the weapons and now he wanted to hand over all to the Soc Trang Provincial Police for preservation.
On behalf of the Party Committee and leaders of the Soc Trang Provincial Police, Senior Colonel Pham Quoc Viet, Deputy Director of the Soc Trang Provincial Police, expressed deep gratitude to Senior Colonel Pham Thi for the donation of valuable historical artifacts.
He also instructed the recipient unit to have a plan for preservation and using them to educate next police generations about patriotic tradition, solidarity, and national aspirations for peace.
