Traffic police launches intensive campaign to ensure traffic during Tet holiday 2021

From December 15, 2020 to February 28, 2021, the traffic police will enhance patrols on traffic routes and check traffic vehicles to ensure traffic safety and prevent crimes.

Recently, the Traffic Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security has just launch a campaign to ensure traffic safety and social order in 2021.
The campaign aims to ensure road traffic safety during the upcoming Lunar New Year festival (Tet) and Lunar New Year festive season.

During the campaign, the traffic police forces will strengthen patrols and checks to suppress crime on a national scale, in order to ensure traffic order and safety, prevent and reduce traffic accident and congestion on traffic routes.
Besides ensuring traffic order and safety on roads, railways and waterway routes, the nationwide traffic police forces also check drivers for alcohol, drug contamination and prevent crime on traffic routes.
