Training course on “Improving capacity for environmental protection” opens

The General Department of Logistics and Techniques under the Ministry of Public Security has just launched a training course on "Improving capacity for environmental protection and climate change adaptation."

The training course, which is taking place in Da Lat city, Lam Dong, starting from on October 24, has drawn the participation of 150 officers and soldiers of police units of 38 southern provinces,.

Experts in these fields will provide the trainees with knowledge, information about the Paris Climate Change Agreement, the national strategies of Vietnam for climate change response, regulations on waste treatment and administrative penalties for violations of environmental protection.

Additionally, they will also introduce trainees some legal documents on environmental protection and the public security forces’ response to climate change.
