Training course on patrolling and controlling waterway opened

The Traffic Police Department opened a training course on patrolling and controlling waterway for water police in the Northern provinces on April 17.

During the training course, lecturers will provide necessary skills for trainees such as how to drive canoe, swimming and rescue techniques, aiming to enhance their basic skills in patrolling and controlling waterway.

This course will also provide an opportunity for the trainees to hold cultural activities and exchange working experiences.

Besides trained basic skills in patrolling and controlling waterway, the trainees will be equipped search and rescue skills in emergency waterway incidents.

This training course will run till April 21.
