PSNews – Following the Hanoi leadership’s instructions on the closure of all close street stalls and coffee shops along the sidewalk, the Truc Bach ward police regularly carried out inspection and asked all local business owners to comply with the instructions.

According to Captain Do Quoc Minh, Deputy Head of the Truc Bach Ward Police Post, after the order of the Hanoi authority took effect, the Ba Dinh District Police Station directed local police forces, including the Truc Bach Ward Police Post, to inform all local food and drink shops of the new policy.

Local police officers came to every local food or/and drink shop along the sidewalk and requested them to close their shops to prevent the spread of the virus.

Meanwhile, indoor eateries are asked to seriously take preventive approaches, such as frequently disinfecting their shops, maintaining a two-meter seat-to-seat distance or separating two seats by erecting shields in between.

Captain Do Quoc Minh also said that, along with their regular inspection, the local police strictly handled any violations.

In particular, since January 27, the local post has handled 22 cases of not wearing face masks, and fined two businesses for bypassing the social distancing rules.
