University of Fire Prevention and Fighting celebrates Vietnamese Teachers’ Day
PSNews – The Fire Prevention and Fighting University organized an event to celebrate the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20).

The event saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security.
The event was also attended by Major General Do Ngoc Can, Director of the General Department of Politics (G.D 3), Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Chuyen, Vice Director of General Department of Logistics and Techniques (G.D 4), former leaders and teachers of the University and other representatives from various units under the Ministry of Public Security.
Over the past 40 years of its construction and development, the University has always attached importance to the development of its teachers and educational managers in order to meet the demands for training fire-police officers in the new situation.
To date, the University has 322 teachers and educational managers, including 1 professor, 4 associate professors, 1 People’s Teacher, 12 Teachers of Merit, 36 doctors, 123 Masters of Art…
Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam recognized and appreciated the efforts and achievements of the teachers and staff of the University as well as their contributions to the cause of education and training in the past years.
He underlined that the quality of teachers is a vital factor deciding the quality of training in each educational institution. He urged the University to focus on the recruitment, training and development of its teachers to meet the criteria set by the MPS.
