Women's Union of Quang Ngai Police promotes administrative reforms to better serve the people

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Thanh Minh, Chairwoman of the Women's Union Organization of the Quang Ngai Police said, the organization mobilized its members to implement the campaign alongside other emulation movements launched by Director of the Provincial Police and Women's Union of higher levels, such as “Public Security Forces following six teachings of Uncle Ho”; “Women of Public Security actively studying and working as well as building a happy family; and the campaign to build their families of 5 Nos (No hunger and poverty, No malnourished children nor children dropping out of school; No children with legal offences, No third child; and No domestic violence) and 3 Clean Standards (Clean House, Clean Kitchen, and Clean Surrounding Area).
Besides, in order to better serve the people, the Women's Union organization of the Quang Ngai Police directed its subordinate chapters to deploy many practical projects on administrative reforms, such as the model “Civilized and friendly reception office”, and the project “Passport issued to citizen's home address.” Its leaders and members disseminated the laws and regulations on entry and immigration to 10,346 people.
For instance, the project "Implementing administrative reforms in issuing ID cards" launched by the Women's Union chapter of the Division of Administrative Management of Social Order brought about positive results. In 2017, the unit’s policewomen issued over 32,000 ID cards, in collaboration with the Youth Union of the Provincial Police came and issued ID cards to 28 people at their residential areas and houses for 28 cases, and collaborated with the Provincial Post Offices in sending nearly 6,000 ID cards to the citizens.
The Women's Union Organization of the Quang Ngai Police has undertaken 15 projects on administrative reforms and their practices have been highly appreciated by the people. Besides the professional work, the Quang Ngai Police's Women’s Union has also organized many charitable and volunteer activities.
The organization built a gratitude house for Vietnamese Heroic Mother Huynh Thi Van (residing in Pho Van commune, Duc Pho district), collaborated with the Women’s Union Organization of the Emulation Grouping of the local armed forces and the Women's Union Organization of the Provincial Trade Union visited and presented 10 packs of gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and beneficiary families in localities totally worth over 230 million VND.
Such practical and effective works have promoted the important roles of the Women's Union organization of Quang Ngai Police, contributing to the achievements of the Provincial Police Force in the new situation.
