Youths of Quang Nam Police conduct voluntary program in remote commune
PSNews –Youths of the Quang Nam Provincial Police on August 4 coordinated with the Youth Union Chapter of Nong Son district to visit and present gifts to needy households in Que Lam commune.
This was part of activities in a voluntary program called “Green Journey”.
Captain Le Van Thang, Secretary of the Youth Union Chapter of the Quang Nam Police said that the “Green Journey” program in Que Lam commune was organized from August 2 to 4 with various meaningful activities, including issuing new ID cards for local people, installing street lights for 2 kilometers of rural road, presenting gifts and fixing houses for needy families, and training fire prevention and fighting and rescue skills for local people.
During the program, young police officers were staying, eating and working together with local people, to mobilize local people to participate in ensuring security and order, contributing to building good images of the People’s Police.
This was also a good chance for the young police officers to practice their mass mobilization skills and learn more about the local situation.
Que Lam is a remote commune of Nong Son district. The local people still face various difficulties in their lives.
