Quang Nam’s Urban Environment Company deployed about 15 or 25 environment workers to clean and collect garbage in local beaches per day, starting from February 14. To date, they have collected some 9 tonnes of waste and clotted oil.

Therefore, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Quang Nam suggested that the Provincial People’s Committee report the case to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment so that the ministry will send scientists and experts to the locality to find out the origin of the environmental pollution in order to exert proper management and avoid severe consequences to coastal areas of Quang Nam in the coming time.
