The National Traffic Safety Committee (NTSC) has announced 11 hotlines to receive traffic complaints during the Tet (Lunar New Year) holidays.

High-level transport unit officials will directly receive hotline calls in order to respond quickly to any traffic complaints, said the NTSC.

The hotlines were set up to avoid the network being overloaded as it was last year, the NTSC said. The residents can now call numbers specifically catering to their requests or complaints.

The citizens having complaints about passenger transport can call three mobile numbers of 0983608989, 0915908085 and 0916608085 to meet those responsible in the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam or the Ministry of Transport via 096665953, 0964045445, 0977497891.

The NTSC will handle problems regarding the traffic safety via four hotlines of 0868911911, 0941329634, 0985465896, 0995918666.

Reports of traffic violations can be sent to the Department of Traffic Police via 0692342608.

In addition to the numbers above, the Traffic Safety Sub-Committee in each province will establish their own hotlines to receive locals’ traffic calls.
