Longest sea bridge in Southeast Asia to be opened in Hai Phong

PSNews-The Tan Vu-Lach Huyen road subproject that connects directly to the Ha Noi-Hai Phong expressway, National Highway 18, National Highway 5 and Noi Bai-Ha Long expressway, goes through Hai An district and Cat Hai district, Hai Phong, and has a total length of 15.6 km, is one of the two major parts of the Lach Huyen port project.
The subproject costs nearly 12 trillion VND, funded by JICA (Japan), has the longest sea crossing bridge in the Southeast Asia (over 5 km), which has been constructed since May 2014, and is expected to finish by May 2017.
Thanks to effort of the entrepreneurs and support of the local authorities, 99% of the bridge has been completed so far. At present, the entrepreneurs are finishing the bridge.
Up to now, 92%, of the work volume of the Tan Vu-Lach Huyen road subproject has been completed while the 29-billion-VND-worth dock, serving as the temporary shelter for local fishermen, will also be finished in April.
