People and Police of Phu Quoc join blood donation day

PSNews-On June 25, the Red Cross of Phu Quoc district, Kien Giang, cooperated with the Blood Transfusion and Hematology Division of Kien Giang Hospital to organize a “Blood Donation Day”.

This was the second “Blood Donation Day” organized by the Phu Quoc District Red Cross chapter in 2017 with the participation of people, officials, workers and Youth Union members of Phu Quoc.
Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Nghia - Chairman of the Phu Quoc district Red Cross chapter, said, the island district was supposed to collect 1,100 blood units. In the first drive held in Vinpearl Phu Quoc, 458 units of blood was collected, and 300 more units of blood was expected to be collected in the second drive.
Despite heavy rains, many people, including police officers of Phu Quoc, joined the blood donation day.
