PSNews - A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Deputy Minister Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam on March 22 worked with the police in Cam Ranh city, Khanh Hoa province.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Ba Doan, Head of the Cam Ranh City Police Station, delivered a report on the results of the task performances of the city’s police force over the past time, saying they have actively grasped the local security situation and successfully safeguarded important political events organized in the city, especially congresses of Party organizations at all levels in the buildup to the 13th National Party Congress.

The Cam Ranh city police also took effective measures to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic in the province while paying attention to promoting the fight against crimes and building up the local police force in the new situation.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam recognized and praised the results that the Cam Ranh city police have achieved over the past time.

He also emphasized some key missions for the local police in the coming time, saying that the Cam Ranh city police force should ensure absolute safety for the elections of the 13th National Assembly deputies and 2021-2026 term People’s Councils in the province.

They should also strengthen their state management over security and the management of foreigners while ensuring traffic order and fire safety, effectively fighting against all kinds of crimes, especially organized crimes, black credit, and drug - related crimes, the Deputy Minister added.
