Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son works with officers and workers at Cay Cay Prison

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security and his entourage paid a working visit to the Cay Cay Prison, under the Department of Criminal Verdict Execution and Judicial Assistance, on July 27, in Tan Bien district, Tay Ninh province.
Senior Colonel Tran Van Buoc, Correctional officer Supervisor of the Cay Cay Prison briefed the delegation on the prison’s situation and the staff’s task performance since the beginning of 2017.

Accordingly, the prison’s staff well managed the prison and closely supervised prisoners as well as implemented policies for prisoners in accordance to the State’s regulations.
Although the prison still faces many difficulties in logistics and techniques, all officers and soldiers of the prison exert themselves to overcome the difficulties and achieve positive results.
Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son recognized and highly appreciated the achievements made by the staff of the Cay Cay Prison over the past time, while showing empathy with all officers and soldiers of the prison about their difficulties and dangers.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son hoped that the prison officers and soldiers, with their high sense of responsibility and trust in the Party, the State and the Ministry of Public Security, the prison will successfully fulfill all assigned tasks in the time ahead.
He also instructed the Cay Cay Prison’s staff to focus on such core missions as Party building, force building and personnel work.
Additionally, the Cay Cay Prison’s staff should build good relations with local authorities, armed forces and people in the area, contributing to ensuring local safety and security, and facilitating their assignment implementation.
