Hau Giang police review task performance in 2020

PSNews - The Hau Giang Provincial Police Department held a conference on December 16 to review its task performance in 2020 and roll out its working plan for 2021. Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the conference.

The event also saw the presence of Tran Van Huyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and other local leaders.

According to reports at the conference, over the past time, the provincial police have closely coordinated with relevant agencies in preventing and fighting crimes, controlling the COVID-19 pandemic as well as protecting security for major political events in the locality. As a result, various types of crime, which had once caused public concern, were investigated and handled.

With its outstanding achievements, the Hau Giang Provincial Police was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the MPS.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son requested the provincial police to continue promoting the movement “All people protect national security” at the grassroots level. At the same time, the local police should raise people's awareness of crime prevention and resolve any security and social order issues at the grassroots level.
