MPS holds meeting on occasion of 2020 Law Day

The Law Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (November 9) aims to honor the Constitution and laws of Vietnam. It is also an occasion for Vietnamese organizations and individuals learn more about the Vietnamese Constitution and laws and improve their sense of law observance. The People's Public Security Forces always organizes various activities in response to the Law Day.
Since 2019, the Public Security Forces have organized 742 meetings to introduce legal documents related to security and order to 157,070 public security officers and soldiers.
In 2020, due to the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, public security agencies and local units could only organize law dissemination drives via the mass media, introduce new laws on the Ministry of Public Security’s website, or deliver leaflets and posters on important legal provisions to people.

In order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of law education in the Public Security Forces, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc requested all public security agencies and units to promote political education and popularize legal documents, especially those directly related to the work of the Public Security Forces, to all officers and soldiers.
At the ceremony, delegates were briefed on the basic contents of the laws adopted at the 9th session of the National Assembly, including the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Judicial Expertise.
