New Rector of Fire Prevention and Fighting University appointed
PSNews – The Fire Prevention and Fighting University on August 30 organized a ceremony to announce a Decision of the Minister of Public Security on appointment of new Rector.

The event saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Major General DinhHuyHieu, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, and various leaders, officers of the university.
Accordingly, Senior Colonel Le Quang Bon, Vice Rector of the University, was appointed to the Rector of the Fire Prevention and Fighting University.
Senior Colonel Le Quang Bon, 50, was born in Nam Thanh commune, Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh. Over the past 30 years, he has held various positions in the university, and has shown his capabilities and sense of responsibility in all positions. His achievements over the past years have been recognized and acknowledged by leaders of the Ministry of Public Security.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh congratulated Senior Colonel Le Quang Bon on his promotion, and asked him to continuously renew the university’s academic programs to follow the working reality of the fire prevention and fighting force.
The university’s leadership should give priority to Party and force building work, enhance the qualifications of the teachers, continuously promote the achievements and traditions of the university in the past time as well as strengthen the university’s internal unity and direct the university to overcome all difficulties to successfully fulfil all given tasks and achieve more merits.
