Various fire police officers spared no efforts to fight fire and rescue people, and some even got injured, others sacrificed themselves when performing their duties, which has been recognized and appreciated by the people.

In an effort to minimize fire incidents, the Fire Police conducted a basic survey, classified and assessed levels of fire safety of various establishments while promptly taking effective approaches to prevent fire at the establishments with high risk of fire and explosion, such as crowded places, apartment buildings and tall buildings.

Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong emphasized that the fire fighting force must give first and foremost priority to the fire prevention work so it should promote the comprehensive strength of the whole political systems and mobilize all people to participate in fire prevention and fighting and rescue.
