Noncommissioned police officers praised for bravery

PSNews – Two noncommissioned police officers at Hoa Ninh commune, Long Ho District, Vinh Long province have been honored by the Vinh Long Provincial People Committee for their bravery in rescuing drowning students.

The Vinh Long Provincial People Committee on Jan 31 held a ceremony to honor and award two noncommissioned police officers at Hoa Ninh commune, namely Le Thanh Tung and Nguyen Hoang Vu for their bravery in rescuing two drowning students.
On December 23, 2017, Mr. Le Thanh Tung and Nguyen Hoang Vu heard someone yelling “help” and then saw two children drowning in a lake. They immediately jumped into the water and saved the two children’s lives.
The two saved children are students at Binh Hoa Phuoc Primary School (Long Ho District).
