Traffic Police Force launches campaign to ensure traffic safety as New Year coming

PSNews - The Traffic Police Force across the country will wage a major campaign to ensure traffic order and safety and social order. The campaign will start from December 16 through to the upcoming New Year, Lunar New Year (Tet) and spring festivals.

During the campaign, the Traffic Police are assigned to ensure traffic order and safety on roads, railways and waterway routes to facilitate the transportation of transport companies and travel of people on the occasion of the New Year and Tet; minimize traffic congestions and accidents; to prevent and handle social disturbances or illegal motorbike races on time.
The Traffic Police all over Vietnam will also promote patrols as well as take professional approaches to effectively fight all types of crime, and illegal transportation of explosives, weapons, counterfeit or prohibited goods as well as other types of law offences on roads, railways and waterway routes.
The campaign will last until February 20, 2019.
