Traffic police help transport liver from airport to hospital in 10 minutes
PSNews - The Road-Railway Traffic Police Division under the HCMC Municipal Police Department supported a medical team in transporting a liver in just 10 minutes from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to the HCMC Medicine and Pharmacy University Hospital.

Representatives of the HCMC Medicine and Pharmacy University Hospital on June 1 visited the Road-Railway Traffic Police Division under the HCMC Municipal Police Department and sent a thank you letter to leaders and soldiers of the unit for supporting the hospital in transporting a liver from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to the hospital.
Earlier at 10am on May 18, the Road-Railway Traffic Police Division received a request to support the transportation of a liver from the airport to the hospital for the doctors could conduct a liver transplant on a patient in a critical health condition.
Right after receiving the information, the Road-Railway Traffic Police Division work out the best transportation route, and mobilized forces to support the transportation. Thanks to the traffic police’s effective support, the liver was transported in a distance of 10km for only 10 minutes in time for the doctors to conduct the transplant.
Currently, this liver transplant patient is in a good health condition. It is known that this liver was donated by an anonymous person in Hanoi.
