Training course on treatment and rehabilitation of drug addicts opens for Cambodian officers
PSNews – The Standing Office on Drug Prevention and Control, under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), organized a training course on treatment and rehabilitation of drug addicts for Cambodian officers.
The training cause aims to strengthen cooperative ties between anti-drugs forces of the two countries in general and provide knowledge and skills in treatment and rehabilitation of drug addicts for Cambodian officers and share with each other experience and difficulty in this field.
Senior Colonel Nguyen Hien Dung, Deputy Head of the Office appreciated the cooperation of functional forces of Cambodia. He also introduced several outstanding rehabilitation models in Vietnam to Cambodian officers. He stressed that in order to attain practical achievements in the process of rehabilitation, it required functional agencies and the families of drug addicts and the community to tighten the connection of their responsibilities.
The Head of the Cambodian delegation thanked the Vietnamese side for the shared knowledge, skills and experience, and stressed that the Cambodian officers would learn and apply some of the Vietnamese side’s models to the reality in Cambodia.
