Minister To Lam visits family of police martyr Pham Cong Huy

Politburo Member and Minister of Public Security General To Lam, on July 14 visited the family of police martyr Pham Cong Huy, former officer at the Fire and Rescue Police Office, under the Hanoi Municipal Police Department.
Minister To Lam and his delegation respectfully offered incense in memory of the late police officer.

Officer Huy died while performing his duty in January 2020. Minister To Lam was accompanied by Lieutenant General To Tan Xo, Head of the MPS Office, Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung, Director of Hanoi Municipal Police Department, and leaders from relevant units. 

Minister To Lam and his delegation respectfully offered incense in memory of the late police officer who sacrificed his life for the peace life of the people. He also encouraged the Huy’s family to overcome their pain and extended best wishes to all members of the martyr’s family. 

Minister Lam expressed his delight when seeing positive changes in physical and mental health of Huy’s family members, especially the good growth of the martyr’s baby daughter. After Huy’s death, his family faced various difficulties. Minister To Lam approved a proposal from the Hanoi police to recruit Huy’s wife to work at the Public Security Forces. 

Minister To Lam encouraged the Huy’s family to overcome their pain and extended best wishes to all members of the martyr’s family.

She is now working at the Police Station of Dong Da district, Hanoi. Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung also briefed Minister To Lam and his delegation on the gratitude activities of the city’s police over the past time. 

Huy’s father, Pham Cong Luan, thanked the Minister To Lam and other leaders of the ministry and Hanoi’s police for their thoughtfulness and practical assistance for his family, saying that the supports has helped his family overcome difficulties and gradually stabilize their lives.
