A Vietnamese expat’s journey toward compatriots at home

In 2024, Typhoon Yagi caused an enormous loss of lives and property in various provinces and cities across Vietnam. In the context that a large number of people in Northern provinces had no food nor shelter, the Public Security Newspaper launched a program to support the disaster-hit people. Among the benefactors were Director General of Sunrise Company (USA) Pham Van Thuy and his spouse La Tu Phien, who sent one billion VND to the Social Charity Fund of the Public Security Newspaper in support of the victims of the disaster.
