Photo book of Senior Lieutenant General Le Minh Huong’s life and work

Hanoi – General Department of Public Security Politics held the launch of the book “Imagines of life and work of Senior Lieutenant General Le Minh Huong” on October 3rd at Public Security Force Museum.

Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended and congratulated editors and Mr. Huong’s family.

The event was also attended by Lieutenant General Tran Ba Thieu, General Director of Public Security Politics General Department, leaders and officers from various departments, academies and units under the MPS as well as family members of late Minister Le Minh Huong.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nam recognized the launch of the book as a precious opportunity for public security officers to pay tribute, honor and express their respect to Mr. Huong’s great contribution to the revolution process of the CPV, our nation and public security forces.

Mr. Nam stressed throughout his life, Mr. Huong always showed his firm stuff, perseverance, enthusiasm as a soldier, determined to overcome all difficulties and hardships, studied and cultivated his knowledge, became excellent diplomat, intelligence officer, leader of Public Security force.

He overcame all difficulties to devote himself to the revolutionary cause of the CPV, for national security, peace and happiness of the people. Mr. Huong was honored by the CPV and the State with various Orders, including Ho Chi Minh Order, Military Exploit Order, etc.

He is an excellent example of moral and revolutionary spirit for other officers to follow.

On behalf of his family members, Major Lieutenant Le Minh Hung, son of the late Minister, expressed his gratitude and feelings attending the ceremony. It is an event of great importance, demonstrating attention and sentiment of MPS Central Party Committee, leaders of the MPS to the contribution by his father, Senior Lieutenant General Le Minh Huong.

The book is a collection of images with 180 pages, briefing life and revolutionary cause of Mr. Huong. Its cover featured tribute words by General Tran Dai Quang.

Leaders of the MPS and editors took the chance to present the book to the late Minister’s family, People’s Security Academy, People’s Police Academy and Public Security Library.
