91 of Vietnam's leading tourist businesses in 2017 honored
PSNews-Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam called on all Vietnamese people, especially those working in the tourism industry, to bring into full play their cultural and ethical values to promote the image of Vietnam, making a widespread and profound impression on international tourists.

On July 8, at the Hanoi Opera House, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA) jointly held a ceremony to honor leading tourism businesses in Vietnam in 2017.
The ceremony drew the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, Head of the State Steering Committee on Tourism.
“Looking back on the 57 year development journey of tourism, we proudly say that the industry has made remarkable steps forward in recent years. The Politburo has recently determined tourism as a spearheaded economic sector,” Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam said.
The deputy PM affirmed that the mission that the country and the society has entrusted to the tourism industry is so important that the industry must be “determined and more determined; creative and more creative” to successfully fulfill the it.
The deputy PM calls on not only those working in the tourism industry but also all Vietnamese people to bring into full play their cultural and ethical values to promote the image of Vietnam and to leave good sentiments about the land and people to all international visitors.
The deputy PM hoped that with Resolution 08-NQ / TU on Tourism Development issued by the Politburo, the Law on Tourism passed by the National Assembly, the tourism sector will grow stronger, more sustainable in the future.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Board announced the list of outstanding 91 enterprises winning the title of Vietnam Tourism Award 2017 in nine different categories.
