Amazon to train Vietnamese enterprises in e-commerce
Leaders of Amazon Global Selling will lecture Vietnamese enterprises on how to reach over 300 million users of the world’s largest online retailer, according to Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The ministry said that its Trade Promotion Agency and Amazon Global Selling will hold the workshop "Exporting via e-commerce platform: Opportunity with Amazon" in Hanoi on February 27.
The event aims to support Vietnamese businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to promote export and build brand through e-commerce.
The event will help Vietnamese enterprises, especially SMEs, sell to the world’s market via Amazon.com, develop Vietnamese enterprises’ brand and goods in e-commerce environment of Amazon.com.
In addition, it will also provide training programs for Vietnamese SMEs on global sales skills on Amazon.com.
Training local enterprises on e-commerce skills is Amazon’s strategic move when penetrating new markets. This will help Amazon create familiarity with consumers before proceeding to enter Vietnam market.
When Vietnamese products appear on Amazon shelves, distributors can contact the sellers directly, meaning a great opportunity for Vietnamese manufacturers or sellers to approach larger markets.
