German businesses seek investment opportunities in Dong Nai

At the working session, Tran Van Vinh, vice chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee said some 1,300 foreign invested businesses, including many European and German companies, have poured more than US$30 billion in the province.
A delegation of German businesses held a working session with leaders of the southern province of Dong Nai on November 21 to seek investment opportunities in the field of environmental treatment. |
Mr.Vinh said that the province has intensified administrative reforms to facilitate businesses’ operations, adding that the locality wants to call on local and foreign businesses to invest in the field of environmental treatment, especially in industrial and domestic waste treatment.
Mr.Forg Wagener from Germany’s Unione company said several German businesses have been operating in the fields of mechanical engineering and environmental treatment for several years. He emphasized that German businesses want to seek opportunities for cooperation with Vietnamese partners on building a waste treatment system in the country.
According to representatives from German enterprises, the German business community is stepping up cooperation with local businesses and Dong Nai Young Entrepreneur Association in promoting the advantageous qualities and products of their respective nation.
