Japanese food and goods fair to open in HCM City
This is the first time such an event will be held in the Vietnamese economic hub as part of activities to mark the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties.
The fair will offer greater opportunities to Japanese businesses looking to introduce their prestigious products to the Vietnamese market, while helping to promote diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries.
Vietnamese customers will also have a chance to buy a wide range of high quality Japanese products at reasonable prices, ranging from food, functional foods, cosmetics and fashion to healthcare services.
Seika Asahina, head of the organizing board of the JPFF, says the fair has attracted around 50 stands of Japanese businesses and the agents of Japanese businesses in Vietnam.
The products on show are all of Japanese origin or produced in Japan or overseas under the management of Japanese businesses or their official agents.
