Nearly 700 trade frauds detected
PSNews-The Quang Nam Provincial Market Management Sub-department in cooperation with other relevantagencies has detected and handled a large number ofcommercial fraud casesduringthe Lunar New Year festival, and fined VND 1.8 billion.

The Provincial Market Management Sub-department succeeded in detecting and solving 694 cases of trade fraud during the Traditional New Year festival, thanks to good cooperation of relevant agencies, said Mr. Doan Ngoc Son, Head of the Provincial Market Management Sub-department.
Trade violation cases mainly involve food safety and hygiene, expired and counterfeit goods. Local relevantagencies alsofined up to VND 1.8 billion.
Additionally, an amount of goods worth some VND 300 million is still seized by the sub-department to be handled under the laws.
