Vietnam Expo 2016 press conference

HCMC - The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has held a press conference to announce the status of Vietnam Expo 2016 (November 30 to December 3) at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ho Chi Minh City.

Hanoi breaks ground on Asia's biggest expo center

This year represents the 14th edition of the expo, said the MOIT, and it continues to be a vital commercial bridge for local and transnational companies to meet and sign business deals to boost commercial trade.

The MOIT said this year exhibitors from 20 countries have registered to participate with four national pavilions planned for Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, China and Taiwan (China).

Indonesia is the Country of Honour for the event. In total, sixty Indonesian companies will showcase advanced industrial technology.

This year’s event will also introduce for the first time two specialized industrial pavilions attracting special attention from professionals and businesses, Hardware – Hand Tools and Ecotech.
