According to the local Department of Tourism, the cruise ship, named Le Lapérouse, is a leading cruise ship of the fleet of Ponant Explorers that consists of six members managed by the Ponant cruise carrier.
The passengers, mainly from Europe and the US, were presented with flowers and gifts by representatives of the municipal Department of Tourism at a welcome ceremony held at the port.
