ASEAN journalists visit S. Korea to enrich cultural understanding

The journalists began their tour programme in Seoul on Sep 4th, where they met the senior officials of the ASEAN-Korea Centre.
They also met officials from the Visit Korea Committee, the King Sejong Institute Foundation (KSIF), and had a lively discussion on various topics including the promotion of the Korean language and culture education in accordance with the increasing demand for knowledge of the Korean language among ASEAN countries.

On the fourth and the fifth day, the journalists visited Gwangju kimchi town and learnt how to make kimchi by themselves, stood a chance to join K-pop festival held to encourage preparations for the Peyongchang Olympics 2018 and met a well-known boyband named Boy Republic.
The ASEAN journalists concluded their visit programme with a trip to the Asian Culture Centre.
