Ao Dai Festival 2017 - Unique activities to be held

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Women Union held a press conference on February 23rd to present detailed programmes of the 4th "Ao Dai festival" (Vietnamese traditional dress festival) in 2017.

The festival themed "Charming Ao Dai" will take place on March 3rd - 17th several locations in Ho Chi Minh City, including Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, the city's Youth Cultural House, the Gem Convention Center, the Ao Dai Museum, the Women Museum, and the General Scientific Library.

Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh has been chosen to be the image ambassador of this year-event, contributing to promoting the beauty of the Vietnamese traditional Ao Dai to the people and international friends.

During 2 weeks of the festival, many performances and exchange activities will be organized. These include the Ao Dai exhibition, the catwalk show on Ao Dai collections by famous Ao Dai designers, the art performance "Quintessence of Vietnamese Ao Dai".
