Beauty of azalea blooms in Sa Pa
Visitors seem lost in the sea of azalea flowers. Wild and planted flowers have together created a charming flowery painting.
More than 2,000 azalea trees from different places have gathered in the Sa Pa flower festival. The festival is to introduce and promote the beauty of unique flower of the Hoang Lien mountain range.
At the cable car station leading to the Fansipan peak, there are hundreds-of-years-old azalea trees on display. It required great effort and professional technique to bring these precious azalea trees to the top of Sa Pa.
On the road leading to the Fansipan peak, visitors would be surprised by the proud beauty of wild azalea trees, some of which are more than 300 years old and carefully cared and named by local authorities.
Azalea trees follow the steps of visitors to the peak of the mountain where the famous ancient azalea tree of Quang Tru – Vietnam’s heritage, is shining bright with the red color like the national flag of Vietnam.
At the foot of the majestic mount –Indochina’s roof, visitors are immersed in the Northwestern cultural space with many traditional games of the mountainous people, such as throwing, pole climbing, bamboo pole dance and stilt walking.
Foreign tourists would be fascinated with the simple yet fresh cultural life of the Northwestern people.
