Classical music, contemporary dance show underway in Hanoi
The show “Summer Symphony” is taking place at the Hanoi Opera House on June 5 and 6, bringing together artists from Vietnam and Japan.

The show is performed by the Symphony Orchestra and Chorus of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet and Freude Fukuoka Choir from Japan alongside conductor Kotaro Kimura, piano soloist Mika Kawasaki and double bass player Ryohei Morita from Japan
The first part of the show features classical music with some popular works by Beethoven, including “Creature of the Prometheus Op.43” and “Symphony No.9”, while the second part includes the contemporary dance “Moment”, choreographed by Nguyen Ngoc Anh and Ta Thuy Chi from Vietnam.
The artistic director of the show is Meritorious Artist Tran Ly Ly, Director of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet.
