The Lam Dong Provincial People Committee is responsible for the organization, management, exploitation and development of the national tourism zone of Tuyen Lam Lake in accordance with the approved plan, the regulations and guidance of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Tuyen Lam Lake, 6 km to the South of Da Lat, has the water surface of 350 ha. It has been created by Tia stream - upstream of Da Tam River. No one knows when and why it was called Tuyen Lam, but maybe because of the grandiose nature around it - stream and forest are close to each other.
The lake, according to the Lam Dong authorities, bears much evidence of human civilizations and has a large potential to become a large scale and famous tourist zone with many special tourist products such as: sightseeing, camping, refreshment, walking, hiking, fishing, revolution base tours, cultural festivals, entertainment, sports and ecotourism.
