Dien Bien Phu victory reflected on circus show
The circus stage was designed as a sample of the Dien Bien Phu battlefield with various sub-scenes, re-enacting the heroic victory.
The one-hour program brought the audience back to the heroic moments of the nation 65 years ago with majestic northwestern mountains, the unique culture of local ethnic minority people and the close military-civilian ties.
Many daily items of ethnic minorities such as baskets, sticks, bamboo commodities, pots and pans were used as unique props of circus artists in juggling, tumbling and animal circus performances.
The sophisticated circus show also brought audiences a bustling and exciting atmosphere of troops marching through mountains and forests to deliver bullets, canons and supplies to the Dien Bien Phu battlefield.
Within the show, there was a small talk with historical witnesses about the heroic period of time of the nation. The program was broadcast live on the Nhandan Television channel.
