Exhibition on nostalgia for Hanoi to debut
PSNews – A series of significant documents and photo of Hanoi from the 19th century to the middle of 20th century will be showcases at Hanoi’s pedestrian street from October 5, on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of Hanoi Liberation Day (October 10, 1954-2018).

With the aim of marking the very important day of Hanoi – the 64th anniversary of Hanoi Liberation Day, the National Archives of Vietnam will host an street exhibition themed “Nostalgia for Hanoi streets”, in the pedestrian street area near Hoan Kiem Lake.
According to the organizing board, the event offers an opportunity for visitors to gain more insights into the capital city through documentary photos on Hanoi’s history, culture, planning and architecture. These documents will also help policymakers devise proper solutions to preserve traditional values and build a modern and prosperous city.
According to the Organizing boar, documents and photos of the exhibition represent a part of a collection of photos of Hanoi displayed at the National Archives of Vietnam at Vu Pham Ham Road, Cau Giay district, Hanoi.
As planned, after displaying in the pedestrian street from October 5-7 and October 12-14, the similar exhibition will take place at Temple of Literature as from October 15.
