French vintage jazz night to take place in Hanoi
PSNews - A jazz night of Vintage Jazz band and friends will take place on September 16 at the French Cultural Center L'Espace in Hanoi.
This show features talent artists including: Ha Dinh Huy (drums & percussion), Doan Viet Dung (guitar), Hoang Hai Bang (guitar bass & contrabass) and Vu Tu Cau (piano) will collaborate with guest artists Quyen Thien Dac (saxophone), Nguyen Duc Minh (guimbarde & flûtes) and Amine Canamine (singer, guembri-musician) from Morocco.
In the first part of this French vintage jazz night, participating artists will revive the atmosphere on the 90's jazz nights with classic French jazz such as Douce France, C'est si bon, Le Jazz et la Java, Que reste t'il de nos amours?, Le sourire de mon amour.
In combination with the early influences of French jazz, the Vietnamese artists and musicians have added some of the subtlety of oriental music to their pieces of music, creating a fusion style of jazz.
With a peculiar production, this French jazz night is expected to bring a unique experience – a musical fusion of French romance and African fiery – to audiences.
