Launching the 2nd art contest about South Korea

On the occasion of the 25 years Vietnam-Korean relation celebration (1992-1997), the Korean Culture Center and the Department of Art, Photography and Exhibition, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism with the support of Hansea Group organize the 2nd art contest for Vietnamese young painters.
The theme of this contest is “Korea, the tradition and the modernity”.
Paintings are received from November, 2016 to the end of May, 2017. The jury will choose 24-30 painting which are the most outstanding for the closing exhibition scheduled to be held in May, 2017 and award for the 3 best works.

A tour to Korea and a private exhibition at Korean Culture Center in 2017 will go to the winner of the contest. The runner-up will be rewarded a trip to Korea and 200 USD. For the third prize, the author will be presented 200 USD.
Last year, the contest lasted for 2 months and attracted 74 Vietnamese painters whose 74 paintings showed the Korean country, culture and people.
