Leaders of U.S. and North Korea in Vietnamese artist’s works
PSNews - Having been inspired by the upcoming Trump-Kim summit in Hanoi, Vietnamese artist Tran Lam Binh recently painted portraits of the U.S. and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) leaders in a hope that the meeting would be of great success.
The pictures by Binh, 37, which had been inspired by the upcoming summit between U.S. President Donald Trump and DPRK leader Kim Jong-un, are displayed at a small café in Long Bien District, Hanoi. |
The paintings were all painted with acrylic paint of vibrant colors on canvas sheets and used concrete sacks, with the contemporary abstract style, portraying the U.S. President and DPRK Leader. |
The pictures by Binh also feature the image of doves, the symbol of peace, and the heart shape and “LOVE” in a hope that the summit would be of great success and ended with a deal as well as contribute to promoting the position of Vietnam on the international stage as a nation of peace and a peace builder. |
Binh also shared that these pictures are all on display and not for sale because of its significance as the two leaders are about to meet in Hanoi in a few days. |
He also wished that Trump and Kim would visit and see his works. |
