Photo exhibition "Spratly Islands in the heart of Hanoi" to open
Titled "Spratly (Truong Sa) Islands in the heart of Hanoi", the exhibition showcases the first-ever comprehensive collection of 100 marvelous photos featuring all 33 islands of the Spratly Islands of Vietnam.
The special event, which is in celebration of the Lunar New Year 2017, is organized by the Youth Club for the Homeland’s Islands and Seas of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in coordination with the Navy High Command.
The photos, which were taken by professional and amateur photographers from all parts of the country during their trips to Spratly Islands, demonstrate the Vietnamese love for the country’s seas and islands.
Especially, as the exhibition is on display from 31st December to 3rd January 2017 at Trang Tien, a walking street in the heart of Hanoi, it will draw much attention from local people and international visitors.
The exhibition will also raise fund to donate water purifiers NT60 for troops and people on Spratly Islands.
