The exhibition, taking place at the Vietnam Art Photograph Archives and Exhibition Center, featuring 148 snapshots taken by professional and amateur photographers from 43 countries.
They were selected from thousands of entries sent to the organizers since November 2017, according to Vu Quoc Khanh, chairman of AVPA.
The photos are arranged based upon different topics, such as portraits, animals, nature and daily life. They capture moments in places the photographers live or visit.
Because the photographers are from many countries around the world, the exhibition provides a diversity of subjects, contents and forms of expression. Thanks to the development of camera technology and image-editing technology, many photos grab the viewers’ attention by their vivid colors, details and layouts.
The exhibition also offers a chance for domestic and international photographers to introduce their works, and discuss photography trends and techniques.
The PSA international photo exhibition will visit HCMC from July 21 to August 5.
Founded in 1934, the Photographic Society of America (PSA) is a worldwide organization providing a wide range of services that promote the art and science of photography as a means of communication, appreciation of images and cultural exchange.
There are nearly 6,000 PSA members, including both amateur and professional photographers, residing in nearly 80 countries and territories.
