More than 100 photos on display illustrated the overall picture of the 2016 Phu Quoc - Kien Giang Green Tourism Campaign. The organizers had arranged the pictures into a detailed and impressive story, narrating the campaign from the launching ceremony in Phu Quoc on August 6, 2016 up to the end.

The campaign has achieved fine outcomes after its 4 months of the implementation. Via the campaign, the organizers of the campaign hoped that green tourism will become a new type of tourism, contributing to growing the local tourism sector as well as protecting local natural resources and environment for sustainable socio-economic development of Vietnam as a whole.

The campaign also aimed to introduce local tourism potentials to domestic and international tourists and attract domestic and foreign investments in the locality.
The organizers of the campaign wanted to raise public awareness of environmental protection, as well as to create positive changes in people’s thought and behavior toward the environment, one of today’s social pressing issues.
