Program to honor Vietnamese ethnic groups’ cultural values

PSNews - A series of activities honoring the cultural quintessence of Vietnamese ethnic groups will take place at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism from November 1-30.

Themed “Great unity, the cultural quintessence of Vietnamese ethnic groups”, with the program consists of various shows of folk songs, folk dances and cuisine events featuring rich cultural values as well as customs and practices of Vietnamese ethnic minorities.
The highlight of the program is an art and music show named “The legend of the buckwheat flower” by the Viet Bac Art and Culture College and ethnic people. The show, jointly performed by professional artists and ethnic people, will tell the audience the story of buckwheat flower and feature the culture of the Northern mountainous region.
Songs in praise of the solidarity among the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam, the love for the Fatherland, and with the theme “Great Unity – The cultural quintessence of Vietnamese ethnic groups” will sound at music shows.
