Vietnam wins big at international music competition

PSNews - Vietnamese students won high prizes at the International Music Competition held in Thailand in 2017.
The International Music Competition 2017 was held in ChiangMai, Thailand.
This is an annual competition that attracts many students from Canada, UK, Japan, China, Hongkong (China), Indonesia, Malaysia, Estonia, and Vietnam.
The judges are prestigious artists from the US, Italy, Argentina, Poland, Israel, Uzbekistan, Japan and Hongkong (China).
The team of Vietnamese students won high prizes of this year’s event.
In particular, pianist Kieu Duc Thang from the Vietnam National Academy of Music won gold medal in group A of the piano category.
Violinist Cao Hoang Linh from the Vietnam National Academy of Music won gold medal in group B of the violin category.
Both winning students are young and promising talents of Vietnam.
In addition, cellist Bui Le Huyen Linh won bronze medal in group C of the cello category.
