Vietnamese temples in the eyes of French photographer
Nicolas Cornet is a French journalist and professional photographer. He is the author of dozens of books and nearly a hundred of articles. Nicolas Cornet has exhibited his photos in France, Switzerland and many Asian countries.

He has spent 3 years travelling across Vietnam, from the North to the South, and visited many temples. To close his journey, Nicolas Cornet decided to launch a photo exhibition and introduce a 250-page photo book, featuring the most impressive parts of the architecture of temples, as well as the simple beauty of the daily life in temples of Vietnam.
The exhibition “Vietnamese Temples” by French photographer Nicolas Cornet will last from November 9 to December 31 at The French Cultural Center L'Espace in Hanoi.
Through the exhibition, Nicolas Cornet wants to preserve the beauty of Vietnamese cultural heritages and to help Vietnamese people and whoever love Vietnamese culture “realize that temples and pagodas of Vietnam are an important part of the national cultural heritage.” He hoped that such knowledge and awareness would lead to the application of scientific methods in the preservation of these heritages.
Within the framework of the exhibition, photographer Nicolas Cornet will also hold exchanges with Hanoi audiences about the photo book "Vietnamese Temple" entitled "Photo and Travel Books."
