The Youth Photography Festival 2019 is designed for photographers aged between 18 and 35 nationwide.
Themed "Vietnam Today", all entried to the contest are supposed to reflect the contemporary life of young people and Vietnamese people, the culture and the national construction and defense cause of Vietnam, activities of Vietnamese nationals in foreign countries as well as values of truth, goodness and beauty.
The festival runs from March 26 to July 15 and receives entries in two categories: Reality photos and Concept Photos. Participants could submit a single photo or a collection taken in 2018 and 2019.
Entries are submitted from the launching day to July 15, 2019 at the website: festivalnhiepanhtre2019.com.
The awards ceremony and outstanding works exhibition will take place in Hanoi on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the capital's liberation day (October 10, 2019).
Mr. Vi Kien Thanh, Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions said that the festival aims to encourage the development of the army of young photographers, contributing to promoting creative art activities reflecting the contemporary life through the lens of young Vietnamese photographers.
