Culture-tourism village hosts activities marking President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday
PSNews - A series of activities are taking place in May at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, marking the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - 2023).
The series of event is organized by the Management Board of Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in collaboration with 12 localities, taking place at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, in the Dong Mo Tourism Area in Son Tay Town, Hanoi,
The highlight is the re-enactment of the naming ceremony with the surname 'Ho' of the Ta Oi ethnic group, of Thua Thien - Hue province and the folk song and dance programme about Uncle Ho.
Within the program, there is also an exhibition displayed 20 paintings about "Uncle Ho and the Vietnamese ethnic community", and 30 photos about the life, career, and affections of Uncle Ho with the community of ethnic groups.
In addition, there are weekend and daily activities of artisan groups working in the Village to introduce the culture, traditional customs and practices, and experience activities at the "Common House" of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.
The program gathers 120 people from 15 ethnic minority groups including Nung, Tay, HMong, Dao, Muong, Thai, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Ba Na, Xo Dang, Gia Rai, Co Tu, Raglai, E De, Khmer.
